Last November 26, 2012, after shortly arriving back from Vancouver  I was truly delighted to be invited by my favorite salon in the Metro.   Every year at this time, the Jing Monis Group of Salons hold their annual event for Press and Media friends- “Holiday’s With The Press”.  It is a day filled with beauty, pampering and delight at the company of some of the best products and stylist in the Metro!

I particularly take joy in visiting the Bellevue Salon which I most frequent, Ms. Cielo,Charmaine, Mandy, Joy, Roger, John and the entire team have become almost like family as I do perpetually drop by in between travels, every other month both as a client and as a peer on some projects!

On this particular day, we are treated to any service from the wide array the salon offers paired with complimentary product samples, beverages and cupcake treats!  Truly it is a quintessential day of pampering and treats!

This year I chose to avail once again of the Keratin Treatment , which was actually introduced to me by the salon precisely a year ago at their 2011 Holiday’s with the Press.  Being highly impressed and a creature of habit, I of course opted for nothing less.  As always we began with a consultation with top stylist Roger.  Being a client with the salon for some time now- they pulled out my file- we discussed what treatments and services I have done  as of late and what I wanted to do.    Being that I was not due for a cut and I usually refrain from hair coloring- I stuck with what had been working for me for the past year and we did a Keratin treatment once again.  My hair is naturally wavy or curly – medium to thick and the Keratin treatment just perfectly tames it and allows me to manage it much easier without necessarily making it unnaturally stiff.

On that particular day, they had Keratin specialists and also brand representative Ms. Irish Capati- to share their expertise on the procedure and offer more information on their wide array of consumer products as well.  I evidently was already very versed at the entire Keratin treatment philosophy and their wide range of products which I have been using for quite some time now.  I was delighted to know, that the same group has now brought in the Moroccan Oil line of products as well and treatments are now offered at the salon using this line of products.

As always, the day ended with a very very pleased client in me.  My visits to Jing Monis Salon have almost become an extension of what it means to “come home”.  The customer service is at par with what one is typically accustomed to in the US or Canada: amiable & knowledgable staff, world – class products & services and clean & comfortable environments.

It was truly well suited to be arriving in Manila to this event which truly set the tone for ringing in the Holidays!
