Inglot is a brand not yet familiar to many, but definitely quite known to already much beauty insider few. Let me share with you the reasons why. (To the left of page 5-customized Freedom Palette eyeshadow)
Inglot Cosmetics is often likened to MAC Cosmetics in terms of product range; and is often referred to as the “european version of MAC”. To a certain extent the brand is very reminiscent of the cosmetic giant MAC but I believe deliver better in price and quality. This is a beauty afficionados dream- amazing product quality at a very reasonable price. They do not sacrifice either product integrity or packaging.
Their eyeshadows are definitely the standout product category in the entire line. Their consistencies, formulation and finish are very much at par with much established prestige cosmetic brands without the hefty price point. Opaque, pigmented and cream-like they indeed contain much characteristics one ideally seeks for in an eyeshadow product.
Below are swatches of two customized 5 Freedom palettes from my collection.
The Cool Palette is composed of 3 shimmer shades and 2 matte shades- a base and a highlight. The palette has the following shades: a soft focus matte white, a beautiful pale lavander with silver shimmer, a gorgeous slate matte gray, a shimmer cement gray and a deep black with a hint of bronze sparkle.
The Warm Palette is composed of: a matte shadow, 2 shimmer shadows and 2 sparkle shadows. These are the following: a Shimmer peach nude, a shimmer pale rose, a matte chocolate brown, a sparkle taupe with fine silver specks, a true black sparkle with burgundy gold specks. As seen through the swatches the shimmer and sparkle reflects of Inglot shadows are sublte and very tasteful. They are never overwhelming or juvenille as they are at times interpreted by other brands.
The Neutral/ Nude Palette is comprised of 5 shadows which work well as base, liner and/or contour shades to compliment any palette or look. These are the following: a matte ecru shade, a matte melon shade, a shimmer toffee shade, a matte true black and an ecru to beige rainbow shadow. All five very versatile, useful and necesary.
The freedom palette such as that utilized here is Inglot’s customization system. They may be purchased in duos, trios, quads, 5-palette, 10-palette, 20-palette and 40-palette. As previewed in my review video- the empty palettes are composed of a durable magnetized casing with a see through – slide cover. They are convenient, durable and highly space efficient.
